The History and Legacy of Vas Rel Por

Long Long ago, in a MMO far far away, there was a small group of gamers who decided that the same old, same old wasn't going to be enough. They decided that they wanted a guild that was made by players who had been at the bottom of the list, and had died one to many times. Through this guild they could grow and become better players and friends. But what name would they choose? They needed a name that would show what they meant. In this game there was a spell, that was used to portal around the game, a gate spell of types. They realized that the spell was what made them strong together, and stood for what they were. They were a portal for players to use to become better gamers, and better friends. Vas Rel Por was the spell, and now it is the guild.
The game was Ultima Online, 1998. The first MMO of all time, and Vas Rel Por was the first guild to decide that it wasn't about being the best, it was about being the most fun, and together.
By 2000, VRP had grown in numbers to around 100 players from 3 different servers, Napa Valley, Pacific, and Great Lakes. But all things that are great must fail at one point. 4 out of the 5 members decided to move on to new games. Splitting the guild up into smaller, less controlled groups that others would take over.
That 1 member stuck around, until moving to EQ, then WoW, and then LotRO. With him, taking the name and its origins. Now, in this day VRP has moved to Age of Conan, and it looking to make its mark as a real, well rounded, fun group of players who all want the same thing...

To be better gamers, and to be better friends. To be true to yourself, and true to your values. To hold your head high, until its chopped from your shoulders, and to swear by the guild, that they will hold you to it.

We are Vas Rel Por.
